We have the following opportunities available.

Hotline Advocates
provide 24-hour counseling, assistance, and resource referral to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through the hotline.
(This is an on-call position.)

Family Advocate Mentors

provide support and assistance to BFF families to allow them to complete their short and long-term goals.

Court-Watch Advocates
work closely with Legal Advocates to assist clients with legal matters and  help prepare clients for court.

One-On-One Mentors
are paired with youth that come from the shelter, transitional housing or outreach clients.
Mentors are positive role models and provide the family with a mentoring relationship that works with the family's goals.
This is a family based and culturally sensitive program.

Child Care Volunteers

care for children while their parent(s)  are in  support group therapy using age appropriate activities.

Administrative Volunteers
help organize and maintain the offices in Avon and Eagle.
Some duties may include answering and directing phone calls, sorting and filling and inputting data into the data base.

Facilities Maintenance Volunteers
help up keep Bright Future Foundation's two offices and the shelter.
Some responsibilities may also be separating and organizing donations.

Self Care Service Volunteers

provide professional services to clients of Bright Future Foundation.
Some examples of these services may be hairdressers, make-up artists, etc.

Light of Hope" Job Training Volunteers
help participants with resumes, job readiness issues, marketing and making candles, distribution, budgeting and anything related to job/company. This program is a wonderful opportunity to work with participants who need job skills/training in a variety of methods.

Fundraising/Events Volunteers

help planning and organize events.  This may include setting up before and cleaning after events and assisting with registration.

Volunteer Artists

Bright Future Foundation is starting an Art Therapy Program.  The program will be in the form of a support group workshop.
Artists will work with a BFF counselor to come up with a lesson plan for each specific workshop.

Translators
help translate important forms, documents, and training materials.
